Born with an unstoppable love for music, Anna began learning piano and cello at age 9. Her journey took her through elite conservatories, international festivals, and rich collaborations across cultures — from European concert halls to Indian jungles filled with music and discovery, and now to deeply curated performances in Canada.
She is the heart of the Soul Strings Music Services, creating immersive musical experiences that blend genres, cultures, and stories. Her performances are known for their emotional depth and artistic elegance, offering everything from soulful solo cello to thoughtfully arranged chamber programs with handpicked collaborators.
📍Based in Halifax, Anna also teaches passionate beginners and adult learners, guiding them into the world of classical music with an approach rooted in mindfulness, efficient technique, and musical storytelling. With her students, she builds a strong foundation not only in cello technique but in theory, and even piano basics to unlock faster and more meaningful progress.
🎓 Anna holds a diploma from the renowned Gnesin Russian Academy of Music. Her education and experience span many styles — from classical performance and jazz to world music and original arrangements — giving her a rare versatility among cellists.
